A team of three radiation oncologists and three medical physicists dedicated to the daily management of prostate cancer at the Institut de Cancérologie de l’Ouest (ICO), a national center of excellence in oncology.
This tool was developed following the analysis of the phase 2 prospective study OLIGOPELVIS GETUG P07 (Supiot et al., Eur. Urol. 2021), in which approximately half of the patients were treated with nodal elective radiotherapy in conjunction with prior prostate radiotherapy. Long-term efficacy and tolerance data have also been published (Vaugier et al., Eur. Urol. 2024).
The ICO is a Cancer Center that welcomes more than 48,000 patients each year across its two facilities in the Pays de la Loire region, in Angers (headquarters) and Nantes/Saint-Herblain.
With its four key missions – Prevention, Care, Research, and Education – the ICO provides comprehensive cutting-edge expertise across the region, exclusively dedicated to oncology.
